Running a Blood Sample

  1. Use a tuberculin syringe with a fine gauge (22-26) needle to collect the blood.
  2. Remove the needle.
  3. Insert the test strip into the meter.
  4. Apply blood only to the center edge of the test strip at the prompt.
  5. Meter will beep when sufficient blood is added.
  6. Test is completed at the beep. Read result.
